Merry Christmas

Christmas this year was alot of fun. Last year was fun just because it was Tenlee's "First Christmas". But this year Tenlee knew who Jesus was in our manger scene, could say "Ho HO" for santa, knew how to open gifts and actually started liking certain charactes so it was much more fun buying her gifts that she could recognize. Christmas at the Phares side was super fun because Logan and Tenlee are at a very fun age together. Grandma Kim got Tenlee a mini baby doll and bottles in her stocking. That is the only thing Tenlee wanting to play with that night. We kind of had to force her to sit down and open her other gifts. And we got a suprise visit from Santa that night. The kids loved that.

Christmas at our house was not how I imagined it. In my head I saw Tenlee so excited to see some more gifts for her and I just knew she would have blast opening them all up. Well....NOT AT ALL how it went. Tenlee was up really late the night before and was VERY grouchy. She basically sat on my lap the whole morning. She through a fit as soon as she got up and it went downhill all day long.

Happy enough to open a few gifts

 

 

We headed to the Troyer side that afternoon and all of us but Tenlee had blast. Tenlee pretty much cried and fussed the whole afternoon. So again she pretty much sat on my lap the whole day. She manage to open a few gifts.

 

 

Tenlee-Last year/This year Comparisons

It has been so much fun watching the changes in Tenlee through out the past year. I am obsessed with taking her pictures. At times I feel like I take too many pictures, but then when I go back through and see them I am so thankful I am a "picture nut"!  Here area a few of Tenlee from last year and then new ones from this year:)

 

 

 

She did very well with Santa this year and last year. This year if you ask her what Santa says, she says "Ho, HO".  It is super cute how she emphazises the last Ho.

I put her on this blanket every month up until her first birthday to see how much she had grown from month to month. I was cleaning out her closet and saw it and thought I would try and get her to lay on it one last time. She not only has changed in size, but her looks have changed as well. She lookes like such a big girl instead of a baby:(
