End of 2nd Trimester

GETTING CLOSER!!
  I cannot believe I am finished with my sencond trimester!!! It feels like it is taking forever, but  really it is flying by. This baby is still moving like crazy, it literally kicks all day long. Tenlee has got to feel it move a lot and got to see it move from the outside at 20.5 weeks. She now likes to lift my shirt up and see if it is moving, and then she lifts her shirt up and tells me her baby is moving too! She has also started kissing my belly and telling the baby she loves it. MELTS my heart!!!

I still feel pretty good, just tired and hungry ALL THE TIME! I am measuring right on and so far I have gained just a few more pounds at this point than I did with Tenlee. I have gained 20.4 pounds so far with this baby and at this same point with Tenlee I had gained 16.2 pounds. I am still carrying this one just like I did with Tenlee, right out in front and very low, although I am a little bigger with this baby so far.

Tenlee/Baby #2 at 22 Weeks 



 

 I have still been having heartburn, and I have also been having braxton hicks for quite a while. I thought it was the baby turning but I figured out that was not the case. I have been having them since 16 weeks, but the past couple weeks they come several times through out the day. I had them with Tenlee but not till the last month.

 

We finally decided on names! Our boys name has been set in stone before I got pregnant. But several of our girl names got picked by relatives so we had to switch them around. We are super excited about both names.

Tenlee covered my baby and "her baby" up with napkins at the fair. She told me they were both very cold.  She has also brushed the baby's hair by brushing my belly with a hair brush and cut its finger nails with her nail trimmer. She is already very concerned and protective of the baby.

County Fair and State Fair

County fair this year was a lot of fun, BUT SOOO HOT!! Our family always looks forward to the good ol' county fair every year. Mom and dad borrow a good friend's camper so we always have a nice cool place to relax and eat. This year, the camper was a lifesaver!!! Especially for a 2.5 yr old who doesn't deal well when she is tired and very hot. (Much like her mama) The boys had a great year. It is hard to believe that my daugher and future little one will be the ones out there showing in no time at all!! Tyler already has the kid's showbox all planned out...kind of scary!

 COUNTY FAIR

 

 Her heifer Khloe got Grand Champion Jersey so Tenlee was pretty excited!

 

 

Tenlee was supposed to show in the open dairy show that weekend, but they cancelled it due to the heat. So we took her in and let her lead her around. She "set her up" in front of me, the "judge" and then got her ribbon. :)

STATE FAIR

 

We LOVE state fair. We always stay a whole weekend and then we try and go back down for the open show, so to us it is a fun little get away. What is more fun than staying a few days in a barn full of mooing cows and sweating like crazy?:)  We did get a hotel this year which makes us very happy since we now have a toddler.
