Easter 2014

Tenlee and her new bunny "Pinky"

Tenlee and I made Easter suckers this year. We had so much fun!! It may end up being a new tradition for the two of us.

She has so much fun this year finding eggs. She had two egg hunts she was able to go on. The first one she pretty much took her time and watched the passing train go by. We ended up with like 10 eggs...the other kids had double or triple that:) The second hunt she went on was much better and she had a blast opening them up. I loved seeing how excited she got over an egg with pennies or jelly beans in it. It was like she had won the lottery!
He really liked his Easter bunny and cars from mom-mom and pa! He also got a new book that Tenlee LOVES reading to him. It sings "Jesus Loves Me" her favorite song so she is constantly laying beside him and singing it to him while flipping thru the pages.

Kooper 4-5 Months Old

This month has been another month of fun changes. Kooper is growing like a weed! He is in 9 month clothing and they fit him perfect..so I am starting to buy a few 12 month tops for him. On top of rolling over from belly to back he has also mastered back to belly! He has officially moved out of his swing..which made me kind of sad...and into his jumperoo. He is still picky on going to sleep. I now have to rock him typically to nurse him and then rock him to put him to sleep. He loves to have his paci and a blanket right up by his face and held really tight and close to you and he will fall right to sleep. I am glad we have found this out because it has made nap time slightly easier.
He has still been content during the day, and he has actually been pretty consistent with taking 2 good naps during the day which is amazing! Both kids at some point in the afternoon are asleep, which makes me feel like I am actually starting to accomplish things around the house. Around 4.5 months he came down with an ear infection. I noticed the week prior he started not eating as well and instead of sleeping 7 hrs at night he was only doing 3 maybe 4 hours.  I assumed he was working on some teeth but after being up all night with him screaming and running a fever, and after a Dr. visit, I found out he was fighting an ear infection. It took about a week to get him feeling better.  He is still doing only 3 hrs at night but has been going to bed much better. He has also learned this month to play with some of his toys and put them into his mouth. At his appointment for his ear he weighed 18.14 pounds (with his clothes on). So he has gained over a pound in 2 short weeks. He is definitely a healthy boy!
