Tenlee is 4!!

My little girl cannot be 4 already!!!! She is the absolute light of our lives!! She has the sweetest personality and just brings so much joy to our family. She is def a people person and LOVES to talk up a storm. The girl can tell stories for an hr and not get tired. She is very caring little girl. If she knows someone isn't feeling well she immediately turns into a little mommy. Tenlee is also a very big helper! She listens to almost everything we say and is learning to be very respectful of others. She also loves Jesus with her whole heart and asks to pray often.

Ketchup (even dips her green beans in it...so gross)

Dill pickles

Chocolate (usually asks for hot cocoa every day)

Dancing...especially with daddy

Doing dishes/helping in the kitchen

Dressing up in her princess dresses

Helping us with her little brother

Going shopping with mommy

She is addicted to snow

Being outside/riding bikes

Her dog Gema

Funny things she says....

"Oh great!"

"Be-Doe"- We wondered where this came from and Auntie Julia told us it is from Despicable Me

She yells at us when we say "Shut-up, Butt, Stupid"...all words she is not allowed to say

Daddy got her roses for her birthday

 

 Daddy made her a little dresser for all of her princess goodies...and as the picture shows, she LOVED IT! She immediately went and grabbed all of her dresses and had to put them in it.

We got her some frozen cereal for her birthday breakfast

 She has been begging to go sledding, so we thought what was more perfect than 

taking her on her birthday. She had a blast...kept yelling at her daddy to go faster! 

They tried making a snowman...not much luck but it still looked cute!

 We started a tradition last year in which each one of the kids gets three gifts from us. #1 We wanted a tradition that included Christ...the true reason for celebrating Christmas. So we decided to get the kids 3 presents. Christ received 3 gifts...so we decided to have our kids get the same amount. They did end up getting one extra...their sibling gifts to each other. #2 We have a pretty tight budget so only getting 3 gifts really saves us a lot of money. Tenlee walked down stairs and asked why there were only 3 gifts for her and we sat her down and explained that Baby Jesus got 3 gifts from the wise man so she was getting 3 gifts. When we got to my parents house that night my dad asked her what she all got and she said "3 gifts just like Baby Jesus" and she was so excited as she told him! 

 All Tenlee asked for was a turtle sandbox for outside, an Elsa doll and a camera like mommy with a battery and memory card. 3 perfect gifts!

 Kooper had no interest in opening his gifts but he loved climbing

on every one of the boxes and bouncing on them. 

 She was so proud of her gift to mommy...Minnie Mouse pajama's just like her. 

She got daddy Nerf guns so they can play together when he gets home from work.

  This girl LOVES lip gloss..She got plenty of it in all of her stockings

 She made 2 mini birthday cakes for Jesus...one for the Phares side and one for the Troyer side. We all had to sing happy birthday and then she blew the candle out. Another fun tradition we started last year with her.
