Kooper 15 and 16 Months

15 Months
Weighs 22.5lbs and is 32in long
Says Da and Ma
Gives kisses with his mouth
Copies anything you do
Dances
Screams out when he is happy, trying to get attention or is just mad-Trying to get him to stop
Said "Doe-Doe" for dog....He saw the dogs and pointed at them and started saying doe doe
Will just randomly come over and say ma ma and want me to hold him and then he goes on his way
He can blow kisses-He puts his hand to his mouth and just holds it there
Gives full kisses on the lips
Said "mommy" for the first and only time (Tyler even heard it!)

He has not starting talking at all...expect for saying "Da or Ma" that is it. I am not for teaching sign language but he is too smart and knows what please and no and thank you mean. So we went ahead and taught him how to sign "please". It took about a week but he has grasped it and will do the sign if he wants anything.

He is now getting on his knees or his belly and playing with his truck or tractors

 This month he has finally been the happiest he has ever been. He is 

more content to just sit and play with Sis or by himself. 

 Whenever Tyler walks in the door he points to him

16 Months
When I sing "There was a farmer who had a...." he says "EIEIO". The one song that calms him down
He will hold pretend phones or just something small and put it up to his head and say "hayo"
He waves night night when we say it is time for bed and when I lay him down in his crib he waves
Working on 2 more top teeth (I think #14 and #15)....Having a rough time with these two
He is starting to use a fork and spoon to pick up his food
Learned to say "cheese", "sissy", "Bubba"(uncle Marcus), "ha" (high)
Climbing up chairs and will get onto table if I don't catch him soon enough
Saying Mama a lot more and when he see's Tyler he says Da
Learned to play "Peek-a-boo"
Will grab for our hands when Tenlee says its time to pray
When we say it's time for bed he immediately goes to find sissy and waves night night to her
Learned to say "Uh-Oh" and Tyler got him to say Bye-Bye one time

This kid loves the water!! He has even started putting his face in the water and 

blowing bubbles or just drinking the water (which we do not encourage..so gross!)

 The little booger learned how to not only climb up into the chair 

but also climbed up onto the table as well...all within an hour. 

This is Kooper every night from 5-7. We are not sure why he chooses to do this but even though it always at supper time and annoys me, I want to remember how much he loved his mommy at this age. 

 His first ice-cream cone..and yes he ate the whole thing!!

 He wanted to wear a headband like sissy...I only allowed it because

 it looked more like a sweatband than an actual headband:)

Easter

This year we had such a fun Easter. Tenlee began asking a lot of questions about why Jesus dies on the cross. We bought some resurrection eggs and a new Easter book and she has learned so much the past few weeks. We took an afternoon and made 3 crosses from sticks she found outside and she now knows who each of the men were up on those crosses. It is so hard and emotional explaining to your 4 year old why Jesus was crucified upon that cross and how to get to Heaven. It has been fun watching her learn and ask new questions each day but also very hard as a parent. Tyler and I do not have all of the answers to every one of her questions so we are doing are best and using our bibles to really show her some of those basic answers. 

Oh my heart!! I cannot even begin to say how much I love these two!! I am so glad God chose me to be their mommy!

Tenlee-Winter

 This girl can fall asleep anywhere...been like that since she was a baby and is just like her daddy

One of her favorite places to go eat is at the Magic Wand in Churubusco. My 

grandparents live there and love to take the kids there for lunch. 

All ready to help mommy with a photo session...she even has her camera all ready 

This is an almost every afternoon thing for her and I. We eat lunch, play for a little bit, put Kooper down for a nap and then we cuddle on the couch and watch HGTV and she falls asleep snuggled up next to me. This is one of my favorite parts of the day and one thing I will enjoy and cherish until she stops wanting to.

We hear pounding noises up stairs thinking it is Kooper kicking his crib. Tyler went up to check on her and found out it was Tenlee. He asked her why she was kicking her wall. She said "I was thirsty and mommy said I would get spanked if I came down for my milk so I stayed up here and was trying to get your attention.". We are finding out she is way too smart and has a super good memory.

She is so respectful...when we ask her to do something she always says yes ma'am or yes sir. She is very good at saying sorry for anything she may have accidentally done. We forgot to grab her camera as we headed to a session and she said...."oh man mommy, I forgot my camera". I told her sorry sis I should have remembered. She told me "mommy you don't need to say sorry, it was all my fault". She has such a sweet personality. She very rarely throws a fit, really only if she is super tired. Other than that she is very happy and willing to help anyone.

We have started doing preschool a few days during the week. She has really enjoyed it. She knows the letters in her name but is having a hard time writing them. She tends to write them all backwards. And she is a lefty so it has been a little harder teaching her since I use my right hand.
