Wind Dixie Reno-Part 1

I was going to try and cram all of our remodeling in to one post but it was becoming quite long:) So Part 1 is for the smaller Reno stuff we tackled and Part 2 will be for the bigger renovations!

Tyler remodeled our bathroom for his grandpa before he bought the house. The only thing we have wanted to change is the sink and vanity. I grew up with one bathroom and one sink in my house so I don't mind that I just knew we needed more storage and more counter space. I found this counter and vanity set at the Habitat Restore for $40...painting the counter/vanity for $20 and we have a brand new to us vanity set that we love! Tyler also added backsplash to make it look a little more modern:) I would have loved to have put a new floor in but our plan is to tear our shower/tub combo out in a few years and add a walk in shower and nice soaker tub, so we didn't want to put new flooring in and then have to redo it in a year or 2.
This piano came from my grandparents church and was donated by a family member so my grandma wanted it to stay in the family. Tyler has never been a huge fan of it, but after I repainted it he actually likes it (just a little:) now.
Our doors downstairs all looked like cats had been scratching them for years so this was our first real change downstairs. Again, adding new doors in a completely different color really brightened it up!
This door is SOOO old! You could literally put tissue paper by this door and it would blow away because of the slight holes and just the age of the door. So we found something that resembled the other white doors we bought, it doesn't let as much light in as I wanted but it is way more economical and it matches our other doors really well! (we still need to do the base piece for the door;)
We replaced our fan a few years ago but we went with a pretty cheap on and in order to feel the air moving you pretty much had to stand right underneath it. We try and not use our air conditioner in the summer unless we absolutely have too, so having a good working fan was a must. This was so perfect and it actually puts off a ton of air!
We switched out our light fixers in the dining room, kitchen and the laundry room (technically there was just a light bulb in laundry room;)
