He is Risen!!!

Easter is getting to be more and more fun as the kids each get older. Tenlee loves learning about Jesus and how he died on the cross and then rose three days later, and this year Koop has started talking more about Jesus and his death. July 4th is my absolute favorite holiday but Easter falls close behind...warmer weather is coming!!!! And knowing what Christ did for us makes me so happy even if it rainy and gloomy out that day:)

We had so much fun decorating our eggs! I bought a cheap package form Walmart and
it turned them a pearly color and the kids had so much fun mixing colors on their own!

I love putting their Easter baskets together way more than Christmas!! Have I mentioned that I LOVE warmer weather??!!!! It is so much fun putting together fun spring baskets for them...this year we got them things for our trip..and then they can use them this summer. My favorite thing was beach towels with their names on them. I had a Disney gift card left from our Disney trip, and I got an email from Disney saying their towels were on sale and that day was free monogramming and free shipping. So I got them each their own Disney towel with their names on them for free! I may have been slightly excited about this:) 

Oh how I love these kids!

 I love being able to find matching dresses with my girl!

I sang the song "why" and Tyler, Tenlee and a few of our youth group kids did a silent drama during it. Tenlee is starting to love being in front of the church praising Jesus. I love watching her!!! Also...notice Tucker sitting on my lap while I sing:) 

She was slightly tired!!!

My mom and dad did an "adult" Easter egg hunt last year and this year they carried on that tradition. To say we have fun in an understatement:) I love that us 4 kids grew up in a Christian home and that our last egg to find read "And the tomb was empty" on the inside.
