Christmas is starting to become way more enjoyable the older these kiddos get. We have several traditions that we have started and the kids get so excited about them each year. We had so much fun leading up Christmas day and I love seeing them each get excited about their favorite traditions to do each year!
She baked all of our sugar cookies this year! I pulled them out of the oven and
helped her frost them but she mixed everything together and cut them all out!

This was the second year in a row that we have been sick over Christmas...everyone was feeling great and then while at my inlaws Roo started to get really mopey and pretty much slept the whole time we opened gifts. By the time we got home he was wide awake and not ready for bed and feeling much better;)

I was sick all night and only got a few hours of sleep and was so bummed out that once I again I wasn't feeling well at Christmas. But thankfully I woke up feeling slightly better and also woke up too the kids jumping up and down on our bed telling us it was Christmas (my dream for Christmas morning:) We had no plans that day and it was so nice to actually have the whole day to just chill and enjoy each other.
I love hearing her read about the birth of Christ. 
Tenlee gave us handmade gifts this year and it is my favorite gift yet! She made each of us books and a beaded decoration of our favorite football teams!

The older two kids had a really fun time this year picking out their own gifts for us. Tenlee picked out her daddy new colts pjs that she was so excited about!
Koop wanted to get daddy a colts helmut to put in his room for a decoration...such a Koop thing) So I looked and found the perfect one and Kooper was so excited to give it to daddy!
They were so excited to get a the new game they saw as their together family gift.
I found these art pads on the clearance rack at Walmart and
they were so excited and started using them right away!
