After our kiddos turn 5 we let them choose what they want to do. We can do a party or just do something speccial Koop chose to go bowling last year and then last minute asked for a small party with his friends. This year he just wanted to have a big party with all of his family and then his friends. Day after day he kept rattling off names of our family to see if they were coming. He wanted to make sure I remembered everyone. This year he asked me if I could decorate using lizards. So "leaping lizards" was the theme:)

A good friend of ours made all the cut outs and it turned out so perfect! Koop kept telling me how cool it looked...which made my heart happy to hear him get so excited.
The only thing he specifically asked for was blueberries and green whipped creme:)

He has always been our child that never hides his emotions, good or bad. And you
can definitely see those emotions when he opens up gifts! Its pretty comical to watch:)

He asked daddy to make him a lizard pinata!
Sissy loves games so she made him a "pin the tongue on the lizard" and the kids all had a blast:)
