Tennessee Trip April 2019

I don't know how but I forgot to post this trip. Last spring we went to Tennessee for our family vacation. We were just there for 4 days but it was the most perfect 4 days spent as a family!
We spent so much time playing in rivers and climbing trails. The kids had
a blast and it was nice just enjoying the beautiful mountains as a family.
We walked a trail up to a beautiful waterfall. A little scary
for me with the heights and young boys but it was so worth it!
So worth it!
We took a day downtown Gatlinburg going thru the little shops. The
kids got bored pretty fast doing this so we didn't spend a ton of time.
He randomly started talking about a pet alligator while we were there. One of our favorite shops had these little beany animals and I saw this alligator and had to get it for him. He named it "Sharky"
They each got money from their grandparents and sissy got these two things.
She loves anything that looks old and fell in love with how this was Indian looking.
This little guy was at our hotel outside by the fire pit and pools and Koop fell in love.
The main reason we stayed here, the pool! They played a movie every night at 8 and the kids ate popcorn and had hot chocolate every night. It was just pure joy to watch them have so much fun each night.
We have been to the Dixie Stampede just the two of us, but never taken the kids. They LOVED it!!!
The kids got picked to help out in the show and got
to keep their very own lasso's. They were so excited!!
One of my favorite pictures of us!
This was a super stressful day. We decided to go to this spot where you can drive around and see original houses and churches still standing. It's typically something you can do pretty quickly but it took us hours to get through because of several bear sightings. It slowed every one down and it was super busy that day anyway. On top of that we forgot to check our gas tank and realized we were almost on E when we got there. The nearest gas station was like 30 min away. It was the longest stretch of time! But now looking back it was so neat being able to see the bears with the cubs. The kids absolutely loved it! Next time visiting, we will fill the tank up and go on a less busy day.
Our favorite ice-cream place!
Golly I love these three more than anything!!!
Best 4 days ever!
