Baby #3 34-36 Weeks

The past few weeks we have been really working hard trying to reorganize the house, (including the upstairs which is always the most challenging part) get the room that two kiddo will share painted and get all the baby stuff ready to go again. I have also wanted to get completely caught up on both kids scrapbooks and get everything ready for my future sister-in-laws wedding shower in a few weeks. I am to the point that I feel like I am officially ready. There are still a few last minute things that I want done but if baby came now we would be prepared enough:)

Tenlee wanted her picture taken and then Koop decided he should stand next to her.
Kooper
Baby #3
Top is Kooper bottom is Baby #3. I definitly think I was more
round and just bigger with Kooper. This one is more straight out.
I have had some back issues for a while with this little one but lately it has been getting worse. I had 2 small photo sessions in one night and I did a little bit of lifting that day. My back basically gave out 3 times and I literally couldn't move. They put me on a muscle relaxer and I was told to sit in a semi recliner with an ice-pack on my back and legs propped up with pillows. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I had Lukus's open house that weekend that I was planning on helping my mom with and then I had 6 sessions planned for the next week.

At 35.5 weeks I started having some sharp pains down my back and down my front into my thigh and legs. My contractions for some reason slowed way down for about 4 days. They had been pretty consistent but not horribly painful. When I started having the sharper pains my contractions started back up...not as often but definitely more painful and just feeling different than they had been feeling before.

I have gained a total of 30 pounds as of my 36 week checkup. Babies heartbeat was a little higher this appointment. It was in the 140's this time. She went ahead and checked me since I have been having some stronger contractions.  I am not fully dilated to a cm but she said I was definitely making progress. She said she would see me in a week unless I went into labor during that week.

Monday June 29th-Started having some harder contractions. They started the weekend before and I also started having some sharper pains.
Tuesday June 30th-Had contractions all day...was hoping that baby did NOT come that day because Tyler was almost 4 hours away for his job, making me super nervous.
July 3rd-Woke up feeling slightly different. Had some mild contractions and a little bit of cramping. I had a newborn session from 10:30-1:30 and afterwards we headed straight down to my parents. Ont he way down I started having some pretty consistent contractions. Mom and I went to Ft Wayne to finish up getting some last minute things for our shower on Sunday. I started timing them and was having them about every 4-6 minutes for an hour. I just started feeling worse as the day went on. I was feeling light headed and my stomach was upset...which I thing was partly nerves. When we got home I showered and and after talking to Tyler decided I should probably call the Dr. and see what she suggested doing. I really assumed she was say to come on down and get checked out.  She said it was my choice but she suggested waiting until they get a little stronger. I was somewhat disappointed because I thought it would be neat to have a forth of July baby. But at the same time I was really starting to get scared, nervous, and just not ready yet.

Finally got the crib built
I love the detailed sides!!
Finally got a chance to get some of the kiddos newborn clothes washed and ready to go!
My friend Sarah is the only one who knows if the baby is a boy or girl!
I had a few things I wanted for pictures for each gender so she went
ahead and took care of ordering them for me.
36.5 Weeks-Feeling so ready to meet this baby!

We spent our 4th of July at my aunt and uncle's lake house. I rode out on the tubing boat and by that evening my contractions had started back up and were very strong. On our way home I told Tyler that if they kept up for the next hour we were gonna head down becuase of how strong they were. They slowed down when I went to bed but I did wake up a few times with a few smaller ones, I did have a hard time sleeping due to really sore hips and my back was killing me.
