State Fair 2015

Good ol' State Fair was this weekend for our family. My brothers showed their dairy animals this past Sunday. So we headed down Saturday and spent the afternoon there and then stayed at a hotel that evening and then attended the show the next day. Tenlee had a blast helping the boys get ready for the show. The boys did pretty good as well...Tucker was pretty much perfect and Kooper was...well Kooper:) I was really worried about the hotel stay but after finally getting both boys to fall asleep, it was better than I thought.
Its hard to believe that we met almost 10 years ago (this sep). We have
been going to state fair almost the whole time we have been together, and this
year it was so sweet to share this tradition with our three precious babies!

She was helping ice down Patty's udder

 Me and my babies

There is nothing better than knowing your little baby gets to grow up with cattle in their life. I am so proud of the fact that I was raised on a dairy farm and I love watching my kids interact with the cattle and have the same responsibilities that I had growing up.
This boy never sleeps like this...so I knew he had
to have been super tired for this to of happened.
She was so excited to go see the draft horses, they were getting ready for a big draft
horse show in the Colosseum and she got to pet and watch one of the horse get ready for it.

Tenlee is 4.5

This girl has such a big personality. She loves pleasing you and hates when she has made someone mad or has upset you in any way. She is a huge helper with laundry, and LOVES helping me in the kitchen. She is also a great big sister to her 2 little brothers. She is definitely my people person child, she loves telling stories and pretending. This year she has had pretend baby chicks, pretend children..Nick and Elliot...and she puts on butterfly wings almost everyday to pretend to go up to heaven to see Jesus. She loves helping on the farm, but would rather be in the barn with a dress and nail polish on:) She doesn't mind getting dirty but she HATES having her hands dirty and is pretty obsessive about washing them. She still likes to dress up in her princess dresses but not she is very much into putting on makeup and having her hair done all up.
She is so her mother's child...loves to wear no shoes. On a more normal day I would have made her keep her shoes on, but her feet were really sore from wearing her boots all day and I had just had Tucker 4 days earlier so I was not in the mood for fighting and I knew a good bath would clean her right up.
I love this picture of the three of them!
She will never take a bite unless we have prayed...I saw her last week doing this with Kooper. I love that she is teaching how to pray.
 Flying a kite with daddy
She came into the kitchen and told me she looked like Jesus on the cross.
She told me to look at the two men beside her, one on each side of him.
I LOVE this picture...this is Tenlee holding great-papa Bill's hands
Going on a date with daddy to see a movie
She had her pretend kids with her,Nick and Elliot, and
she was picking out paint colors for their new room:)

 Goof balls!

Kooper 18-21 Months Old

18 Months Old-He weighs 28 pounds
Shoe, hat, door, juice (what he calls his milk and water), pa,
Nap time has been interesting, he is starting to fight going down for both naps and has been crying in the evening for bedtime. I have tried to switch him to just one big nap during the day, but he is just so grouchy in the morning. But on the days I can do it...it is nice because he actually gets a 2-3 good hour nap in. I am able to get a lot done!

 He loves fruit!!
 Hanging out at the campground
This boy loves anything that has wheels and can move!
When we get to my parents this is the first thing he heads for.
Saying juice...I love his lips!
 Farming with daddy
Kooper and Papa having a guys night. Us girls went to a concert so
my dad offered to watch him since Tyler had class that night.
My boys all ready for church

19 Months Old
He pretty much will say any word you tell him too, but these words he is now saying all on his own. Bird-Birsh, Bye-ya, Hi-ya, nanna, bubba, boo, papa, drink, down, done, pa, chip-the kid's puppy, hello-when you answer your cell phone, rock-ock,

He is doing so much better with sleeping. I can still get him to take 2 naps but he is getting better about being happy and playing in the morning and then he is ready for nap right after lunch. He is still a bottomless pit and will literally eat anything, but he is now not eating a very good breakfast. I typically feed him a bowl of oatmeal or a pancake and I can barley get him to eat anything now. This is also probably the best month of sleep for him. He still gets up every once in a while but those are becoming very few. Of course he starts this as soon as the new baby arrives:)
He grabbed my grandma's hand the other night and luckily I
had my camera right there to capture it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
He was so tired after being outside at the lake all
afternoon, so I took advantage of snuggling with him.
This is a typically evening thing for us!

20 Months Old-He has been so much fun this path month. He is still a mommy's boy but he has really started warming up to daddy. He is talking like crazy. His words are becoming more and more clear each day and you can really understand what he is wanting. He has pretty much slept all through the night for the past month. Finally...it has taken 20 months, but we are there! He is also now down to just one longer nap in the afternoon. He is still ready for bed around 8-8:30pm and is up around 7:30am. He still LOVES to be outside. He absolutely hates to be inside where there are limitations. As long as he is out where he can do what he wants he is a happy little camper. So with all of this rain he has been a little more fussy being cooped up in the house. He loves music and dancing and turns into a little ham when we are in the car and the music is turned up. He knows quite a bit of the ABC song and we will occasional hear him singing twinkle twinkle little star, the words are in and out but he has the correct tune.
His new thing is trying on people's shoes if they are left by the door
His first time eating a sucker

Flirting with the girls
At Menards with mommy and daddy
Helping Uncle Bean get the elevator all set up for the straw
He has offically learned to open the fridge and get into the eggs.
He loves riding with daddy on the bobcat
