How is my baby boy a month old already!!! It is already flying by and I am so sad to know that my newborn days are coming to an end. I love the newborn stage...it is by far my favorite. I love how you can already start to see their little personalities come out and I love how they love to be held and snuggled and how they fit just perfectly right on your chest. So to say I am enjoying every minute of my littlest man is an understatement:)
He is a great baby! He reminds me a lot of how Tenlee was as a baby. He is pretty easy going. During the day he generally doesn't cry unless he is hungry or has a full diaper, which is something that really sets him off. Other than that he pretty much is perfect during the day:)
He wakes up around 7:30-7:45 and then I feed him again around 9 and then at lunch time
He then naps really well in the afternoon and I usually feed him off and on from 3-5 and then back at 7. He then is wide awake from 8-10. This is really the only time that he is super fussy. One of us pretty much has to hold him and walk around with him during this time. During this time we usually get the other two kids ready for bed and then we both get showered and then give Tucker his bath right before I feed him before heading upstairs. This week he has been a little more fussier so it has been around 10:30-11pm before he is out for the night. But I will take a few hours in the evening with him being fussy over having him up all night (like his big brother), so it has actually been really nice. He has consistently been doing 4.5-5 hours for the past week during the night.
He still looks so different from the other two kiddos. He is so much longer than they ever were, his skin/hair is different, and he just looks nothing like them. The two older kids liked being on their belly's and he does not.
Comparisons
Kooper/Tucker-not fans of their carseat, like to be moving when being held
Tenlee/Tucker- VERY content to not be held all of the time....althought Tucker is a tad bit more snuggly then Tenlee ever was, they are both pretty deep sleepers (the sweeper never has woken either up)
His first shopping trip with mommy... I forgot how much
longer it takes to go to into town when you have a new baby.
She is such a big helper!!!
Putting up sweet corn and Tucker was a little fussy and
just wanted mommy, so I made it work by doing it this way!
Starting to warm up to his baths a little bit.
Biggest smile yet!
He does this this alot with hislittle lips
Tyler and I were in the laundry room folding some clothes and I heard Tucker start to cry so I headed out to check on him and saw that big sis had picked him up on her own and was swaying back and forth and calming him down. It was too cute not to take a picture while daddy was standing right by her. She did get a lecture on how she is too little still to pick him up and she always has to ask to hold him. But she sure does try to help!
