Koop is 7

Cannot believe this boy is 7!!! I feel like when they pass the age of 5 they loose that little kid look, and this year I feel like he has just grown up overnight! He has gotten so tall and just look so much older...I love seeing him change so much but yet I miss him being a chunky little toddler. He finished up kindergarten and started first grade this year. He is learning to read and is great at reading 3-4 letter words. He is also starting to add and is really good at it!  He does love learning and his favorite is anything science related! He still loves to have a routine and always has to have a plan of what's going to happen for the day...he is so much like me in that aspect. He is our sensitive, emotional, super loving, nature loving and our most caring child. He loves Jesus with his whole heart and really wishes he could live with him now. He loves having long talks with me and reminds me of an 80 yr old man who has lived a long good life:) He is super intelligent and loves to learn how things work and still wants to build a robot with daddy someday. He also loves his pet lizard Zues and our dog Gema so very much.

He loves-fossils, rocks, dinosaurs, star wars, looking at books pertaining to all of these things, collecting bugs with me, building Legos, LOVES drawing anything and everything,

He does not like getting dirty still, he gets upset when things are not fair or going his way (typical kid, but he processes it so much harder), still cannot eat or be around anything with cereal and milk for breakfast, still gags over everything gross, still gets very uncomfortable around large groups,

He may not have gotten a chin dimple like the other two,
but this little boy has the most amazing freckles!!!
He loved the water this year.
He learned to kayak this year and was so great at it!
One of his favorite things to do
His first year in Mini this year....this was a big deal for my big boy. He has never loved farm animals. So we didn't know if he would want to show in 4-H. We never wanted to push him. But he decided to try feeder calves this year. He did so well and I couldn't have been more proud!!

I thought he was just sitting there pretending to be asleep....
but then I watched for a few minutes and realized he was out.
He has the MOST AMAZING eyelashes!!
We were having a very serious conversation...love talking
with him. He acts like he is 70 and has lived a long life.
Finally learned to tie his shoes.
