Wind Dixie Fairytales: My baby is 6 months old!!!!

It doesn't seem possible that my baby boy is already 6 months old. It truly goes by so fast with each child, and I am trying to savior every possible baby moment with my little man. It is so bittersweet knowing he is my last one. Everything is so exciting and new to him but I know every first and new thing to him is my last "first thing" and it makes me so sad. He has really started chewing on EVERYTHING, he is still slobbering, he has found his feet (which is my favorite thing ever), and has started saying "ba, ba, ba". He has also started using his legs and his will turn his head completely around when he is on his back and he manages to turn his whole body around to see where the action is. This month he has slowed down quite a bit on his rolling over, but he is holding himself up a lot more when he is on his belly and he is starting to push himself backwards as well. He has rolled over once (which is new) from belly to back but I only caught it once and he hasn't done it since. He pretty much likes to lay in his rocker and chew on his toys. He does like his bouncer, but only for a short bit. He reminds me so much of Tenlee as a baby. She was very content to just lay around and watch what was going on and she wasn't in a hurry to sit up or go anywhere. He is still waking up through the night, although the past few weeks have been worst than last month. All of the kids have had that nasty upper respiratory infections this month (Tenlee had bronchitis and both boys have had croup) so with coughing and just not feeling well he has been getting up about every 2-3 hours through the night. He is still going to bed around 8:30-9 but the past week he has fought going to sleep.

He was so fussy this day and Tenlee and I were in the process of baking cooking (notice the flour on my pants) and he was only happy if I was holding him. He got so heavy that I finally just sat on the floor so I could still watch Tenlee and he was so content to just lay on my legs and watch me.

Tyler was in Indy for work on his birthday so Tucker and I was suprised him and showed up at his hotel for the night. There was a Cracker Barrel down the road so we celebrated his birthday there.
