Tenlee has been obsessed with horses for forever. I have always wanted to get her one but Tyler has never been a fan of horses...he thinks there is no point and that they are hay burners. I wanted to do something special this year since she is turning 5 so I thought a pony would be perfect. After talking to several people (who have ponies) and us girls convincing daddy we finally got a "yes" from him! The problem is finding one near us and in our price range. We found several that we were going to go check out but something came up on both of them. We had gotten several names from a few neighbors and decided to go drive around and see if we could find any. That night we told Tenlee to just pray about it at bedtime and maybe Jesus would help us find her one. The next day before we headed out she prayed again that Jesus would keep us all safe and help us find her a special pony. The first place we stopped at which was literally down the road from us surprisingly had one they were wanting to sell and it was also in our price range. As soon as Tyler brought her out to show us Tenlee and I fell in love with her. She just had the sweetest face and was the perfect size. (and I loved her coloring)
