It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Each year my love for Christmas grows smaller and smaller because of my hatred for winter:) But having small kids makes it so much fun and brings in just the right amount of excitement back to me.
One of their favorite parts...getting a new ornament for the tree. And
then they love looking at all of their previous ones from each year.
Each of them pushing it on a little bit more
For the month of December we went to the Botanical Gardens for our Co-op field trip. It was all decorated for Christmas and the kids had such a great time exploring.
She found another snow globe for her collection...a cardinal one this year.
They painted farm animal ornaments for their trees in their rooms.
Thanksgiving
Day after Thanksgiving shopping with my girl
We were gonna wait till it came out on DVD but decided to surprise
them and take them to see it...the boys have never been to a theater.
Sending out their letters to Santa
Instead of doing the Elf on the Shelf we started doing Sam the Shepherd a few years ago. It is the same concept just a Christian version. Our Shepherd has always left notes for the kids and this year Tyler decided to take over the letters. Let's just say I will be keeping them with my keepsakes. They are just too special and so personal for the kids.

Still scared enough that he had to have me stand with him while
they talked and then wouldn't sit on his lap for my picture:)
Wanted a snow picture in their Christmas outfits but wondered if the snow would be gone...glad I took them because it was a warm 55 degrees for Christmas.
So proud of all she was able to buy for her "adopted family" this Christmas.

Church Christmas program
This year the kids took over cooking baking...Tenlee mixed them all up and then cut them out. And all three frosted and decorated them. I put them in and took them out of the oven...easiest job!
