Koop is 6

Can't believe this boy is 6! It doesn't seem possible. This year has been a BIG year for Koop. He lost his first couple of teeth around Christmas, asked Jesus into his heart this past spring, and then started Kindergarten this fall. He was so busy this summer...he was outside all day long and made new forts in the corn field and wooded area. He collected everything, added so many new bugs to his collection and fell in love with the pool this summer. This spring we also got some answers to his emotions that we have dealt with the past 6 years. Finally learning how his little brain works...it has taken a long time but we have a much better understanding of how he processes everything. This year we also noticed how sweet his little heart is. He is the MOST caring little man I have EVER met. He has the best manners and is def our best child at obeying. He is always worried about what others feel or if they have enough to eat. He will literally not take food unless he knows for sure that no ones else needs or wants it. He is almost too caring at times. His little heart makes me so proud and just love him so much!
This year my sweet boy asked Jesus into his heart...watching him be so excited literally made tears come down my cheeks!!
His kindergarten pictures.
His first tooth!!
Second tooth right before Christmas
Went to the eye dr and loved this eye machine..kept saying it was a robot:)
He LOVES drawing!!
He had to have 5 cavities filled this summer and he absolutely loved it!! He was so relaxed
that the one time he fell asleep. She had to try and fill the one tooth while he was asleep.

Loves falling asleep with a soft blanket on his head.
This summer they found this little clear spot in the corn and Koop
called it his secret hiding spot. He was so sad when they chopped it.
He LOVES his dog Gema...they are best friends.
This summer he lost his fear of water and LOVED swimming at the pool.
He had been asking for a lizard for quite a while. Tenlee has gotten a pony, a heifer, a goat and so on. This little man has no pet besides our dog Gema. So we thought about it and did some research. We decided a gecko was the best thing for us to get him. But we told him he had to save up some money to help him. So he set up a lemonade stand and he worked so hard to earn money doing more chores for other people.
Finally getting his dream pet...his lizard!
He named him Zues.
This time he pulled his own tooth...wanted to videotape it and he pulled it too fast:)
After 8.5 years of being parents we have no accidents with the three kids. We've been waiting for something to happen...but nothing:) Well the record was broken when Tuck hit Koop on the head with a pvc pipe...ending with 2 staples.
