Tenlee Grace 1-12-11

I love being able to look back on these blog posts and read them like they are journals pages/photo albums. But I started my blog after Tenlee was born so I just realized I never posted anything on her birth or her first few years with us...thought I should catch up on those:)

Dec 2010 Maternity Pictures
I believe I was 36 weeks along with Baby B in these pictures
I never wrote a blog post for Tenlee Grace and I love how this is a small journal for me to look back on and see our life growing each year. So I thought I would write a post for our daughter.

A few days before she arrived...37.5 weeks
1-11-11 38 weeks
The night we headed to the hospital
Biggest snow of the year..what typically would take us 25 minutes to get there ended up taking up close to an hour...the roads were terrible. And the whole time my contraction slowed way down and I was so worried they would send us right home.
They decided to keep us...so thankful!
So it took us about an hour to get to the hospital. Tyler was only going about 25mph all the way down. By the time we got there, it was around 9 and my contractions had slowly stopped. We were both worried they were just going to send us home. They checked me when I got there and I was at 2cm but her head was still pretty high.
We got there around 9pm that night and Tenlee Grace was born the next day on January 12, 2011 at 11:11am. She weighed 6.6lbs and was 18.5 in long, my teeny tiny baby with lots of dark hair.
Posing just like her daddy did when he was born
He fell in love with that little girl the moment he saw her!
I was so in shock that she was a girl...I wanted a girl so bad, but just
knew it was a boy. When they said "girl" I felt like I was dreaming!
Our first family picture
Daddy telling them that we have a baby girl! I love the look on Dan's face.
Very proud great grandparents.
Already loving her thumb
Getting ready to take her home!
Daddy picked her outfit out...and then continued the tradition with the two boys.
My sweet baby girl
